PARENTS/GUARDIANS CODE OF CONDUCT
By registering a player in Malden Youth Soccer Association, parents and guardians agree to be responsible for their child, themselves, and any spectators attending MYSA events their child(ren)’s with respect to the following conduct:

I will be a positive role model for my child and encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy.

I will not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, player, parent or spectator such as booing, taunting or using profane language or gestures, etc.

I will not encourage any behaviors or practices that would endanger the athletes.

I will remember that I am a Malden Youth Soccer parent/guardian and will remember the game is for the children and not the adults.

I will respect the officials and their authority during games and will never question, discuss, or confront coaches or referees at the game field, and will take time to speak with coaches at a mutually agreed upon time and place.

If I have an issue or disagreement with the coach that cannot be resolved directly with the coach, I will raise the issue properly using the MYSA escalation procedure protocol.

I will abide by all Malden Youth Soccer rules, regulations and rulings.

I understand that if I fail to abide by the aforementioned conduct, I will be subject to actions by the Malden Youth Soccer Board that could include, but is not limited to, the following:

Verbal or written warning by official, head coach, and/or member of league organization

Parental/Guardian game, season, or league suspension with written documentation of incident

Revocation of your player's privilege to play with MYSA and/or other towns in our league
